Information for Patients

We give special attention to the needs of all our patients, your optimum care and health remains our top priority. At St. Mary’s Hospital, only the best technology and comfort is available to our patients, we are prompt at resolving any issues that may arise during your stay. Our services are delivered to your maximum satisfaction. We understand the anxiety that may surround a patient and hence, we strive to provide our patients with an environment that will contribute towards keeping them relaxed and comfortable. We take great care to ensure the maintenance of hygienic and germ free environment at all times.

Private patients

If you are covering the cost of your care at St Marys privately, you will be required to pay the cost of any consultations, investiations and treatments in full on the day recieved. For Surgery an initial deposit is required and the rest paid by an agreed time schedule. There is also a yearly registration fee

Health Maintenance
Organisations

We support both private and corporate insurance plan holders. Please check your plan details to see the level of cover you have at St Marys. Most insurance companies require authorisation before certain treatments can be administered, in cases where your plan does not cover this you have the option of paying privately. We also support the World Bank community health insurance scheme helping bring better health care to poor communities

Antenatal Classes

Our Antenatal course covers everything you need to know about your remaining pregnancy, labour, birth and the early days of parenthood, including first aid, and our carefully selected team is made up of highly experienced midwives.

Visitation

St. Mary's Hospital acknowledges the central role that families, support persons and visitors play in the health and well-being of patients. Your participation in care is welcomed and encouraged. Visiting times are between 9am-4pm
